Alabama A&M’s Jalen Wright to enter transfer portal

Alabama A&M linebacker Jalen Wright will enter the transfer portal, according to his representation, Chris Hummer of 247Sports reports.  The sophomore out of Birmingham, AL led the Bulldogs with 75 total tackles ( 26 solo, 49 assisted), with a season high of 12 coming against Grambling on 11/1. Wright also led AAMU with 6.5 tackles for loss and also recorded a sack and an interception, which came against Texas Southern and Bethune-Cookman, respectively.

Prairie View’s Sparks declares for NFL draft

Prairie View defensive lineman Alajujuan Sparks has declared for the NFL Draft. Sparks began his collegiate career at Alabama as an offensive lineman, spending two seasons with the Crimson Tide before transferring to Valdosta State.  Sparks appeared in 28 games as a Blazer, recording 27 tackles ( 13 solo, 14, assisted ), 3 tackles for loss, and 3 passes defensed.
