The Preseason Watch List for the fouth annual Aeneas Williams Award was released by the Oklahoma Sports Hall of Fame. Presented by the Chicksaw Nation, the Aeneas Wiliams is presented to the best defensive back among Division I HBCU institutions, based on performance on the field, athletic ability and character.  Amongst the 15 players named to the watchlist Jackson State defensive back Shemar Hawkins. SWAC announces time coordinates and location for 2025 Men’s and Women’s Basketball Media Day

The SWAC announced the dates for its 2025 Men’s and Women’s Basketball Media Day. Prairie View A&M lands three-star running back

Three-star and class of 2026 running back Nicholas Tramble committed to Prairie View. The Southwestern Athletic Conference has unveiled their slate of games that will appear on ESPN’s linear and digital platform for the 2025 football season.  The 14-game docket kicks off with North Carolina taking on Southern in the 2025 Cricket MEAC/SWAC Challenge on Saturday, August 23.
