Since its inception on the KD IV, the “Aunt Pearl” colorway has become a foundational, reoccurring theme, with an interaction of the commemorative colorway making an appearance on each subsequent model. Made for the participants of the Nike Elite Youth Basketball league, they sport an eye-catching deep red upper paired with black at the Swooshes on the lateral and medial sides, as well as the KD logo on the tongue. According to dghoopskicks, a pair of Warriors-inspired Nike KD IV will debut in. 2025.  If the renderings are accurate, one pair is a royal blue-based featuring a fused upper with a gold strap. Though images have been circulating of the KD 17 for several weeks, the man himself, Kevin Durant took them to the court in Game 1 of the Suns opening round Western Conference playoff series.  They feature an-black aesthetic ( a possible wear test sample?) with the clear translucent KD logo on the tongue offering the only sibilance of visual variety.  A black midsole and matching rubber outsole completes the monochromatic look.  As it currently stands the KD 17 is planned to debut May 24 at nike.com and select retail venues.…

While warming up before a recent game, Kevin Durant tool a new color of his KD 16 to the court. This Player Edition sports a white upper with an orange and pink piping separating the aforementioned white from the metallic chrome below. Black KD and Nike on the tongue, rear heel and sides, respectively. As these are a PE, there is no word of a planned retail release.
