Thousands of Pair of Counterfeit Sneakers discovered by South African Customs

The South African Revenue Service (SARS) seized counterfeit sneakers at the Lebombo Border Post.  Suspicions were aroused when a truck driver refused to stop at the port checkpoint on Monday. Police then chased the truck; the driver fled the scene outside the port area. Earlier this week we covered the, at the time, growing movement of people filming themselves burning or throwing out their New Balance shoes in lieu of perceived company support of President-elect Donald Trump. New Balance attempts to distance itself from the support of white supremacist organization

Ever since one of its executives made statements in support of President-elect Donald Trump, New Balance has been under fire ( literally in some cases).
