Tennessee State’s Camani Cobbs named to HBCU All-America Team

Tennessee State redshirt sophomore defensive back Camani Cobbs was named to the BOXTOROW HBCU All-America Team. Last season the Southeast Missouri transfer appeared in 8 games for the Tigers, recording 7 total tackles, (6 solo), posting a season high 3 against Western Illinois on November 9, 2024, as well as 3 pass breakups.  This is the latest preseason honor for the Cobbs, as the McDonough, GA native was also named to the OVC-Big South Preseason Players to Watch List, one of six TSU players to receive such honors.

The Preseason Watch List for the fouth annual Aeneas Williams Award was released by the Oklahoma Sports Hall of Fame. Presented by the Chicksaw Nation, the Aeneas Wiliams is presented to the best defensive back among Division I HBCU institutions, based on performance on the field, athletic ability and character.  Amongst the 15 players named to the watchlist Jackson State defensive back Shemar Hawkins. A new look at the “Rare Air” Air Jordan 11

The Air Jordan 11 is the latest Air Jordan silhouette to get the “Rare Air” treatment and will debut later this year.  They sport a white leather upper with “JORDAN” spelled on the lace loops. A blue patent leather rand overlays the upper, with a red embroidered Jumpman taking its normal position on the lateral ankle. Traversing the tongue is a sash that reads “JUMPMAN JORDAN”, while a “23” appears on the black rear heel.  Underneath the aforementioned rear heel resides a white midsole and a sail translucent rubber outsole. …

Take another look at the “French Blue” Air Jordan 12

Later this month the “French Blue” Air Jordan 12 will begin its third trip around the retail sun. An initial look at the “Moonwalker” Nike Zoom IX Low Protro

Initial images of the “Moonwalker” Nike Kobe IX Elite Low Protro have finally come to light. As was the case with their 2014 progenitor, they sport a beautiful and eye-catching purple knit upper adorned on the sides with metallic silver Swooshes. Nine hashes occupy the rear heel, while a Kobe signature and logo are perched atop the purple tongue.
