Jordan Brand commemorates Russell Westbrook MVP season with XXXI-10-10 pack

In honoring of Russell Westbrook’s extraordinary MVP season, Jordan Brand sent the newly crowned most valuable player an exclusive gift.  The pack consists of a pair of Air Jordan XXXI, and two pair of Air Jordan X’s, one pair orange and one pair blue. The numbers of the sneakers represent Westbrook’s season averages of 31points, 10 rebounds and 10 assists per game. The pack also included a short note from one Michael Jordan.

Following a precedent set by its predecessors, the LeBron 11 gets the black and red treatment. This incarnation features a black upper with red accenting on the inner, on the insole and the heel. This sneaker comes dressed in black nubuck upper with blue mesh panels and the white leather overlays that give the Uptempo its distinctive look. This latest training shoe from Jordan Brand was inspired by Michael Jordan’s notorious “breakfast club workouts.  The shoe features a Flyknit upper, which is the material’s debut on a Jordan performance model. This Air Jordan XXXI was created as a birthday gift for Minnesota Lynx star and Jordan Brand athlete Maya Moore and its derives it color from red velvet cake. The toe is burgundy and fades to white before meeting the burgundy leather that wraps around the heel, where a silver tinted Jumpman calls home. The burgundy swoosh on the shoe also follows the fading pattern on the upper.  Moore’s stylized “MM” logo is placed on the tongue. When the Nike Mag ,equipped with power laces,was released in 2016, the sheer fact of their limited availability of only 89 pair, and the effort entailed to obtain a pair ( making a donation to the Micheal J.
