Stupid Things People Do for Sneakers: Man steals 34 pairs of sneakers from JC Penney

In our latest edition of Stupid Things People Do for Sneakers, we submit the case of Travis Pastorius of Utica, NY. The 28 year old was charged with felony 4th degree larceny and  misdemeanor petit larceny after he pilfered 34 pairs of sneakers from a local JC Penney over a two-day period.  Mr. Pastorius was arraigned in New Hartford Town Court and then sent to the Oneida County Jail; he will appear in court at a later date.

Back in September, we covered the Nike HyperAdapt 1.0, an innovative shoe from Nike that featured  LED lighting  that light up as adaptive lacing system is tightening the shoe.  Now the Beaverton, Oregon based company has announced a release date and price for this anticipate shoe.
