This sneaker features a light tan upper and a woven pattern on the lateral and medial overlays instead of the traditional lizard print. Faux wood are used for the eyelets and the “JUMPMAN” panel. Tragedy struck the family of Illinois Rep Danny Davis, who represents the 7th Congressional District of Illinois.  Two teenagers broke into the home of Davis’s grandson, 15 year-old Jovan Wilson. Stupid Things People Do for Sneakers: Man steals 34 pairs of sneakers from JC Penney

In our latest edition of Stupid Things People Do for Sneakers, we submit the case of Travis Pastorius of Utica, NY. The 28 year old was charged with felony 4th degree larceny and  misdemeanor petit larceny after he pilfered 34 pairs of sneakers from a local JC Penney over a two-day period.  Mr. Pastorius was arraigned in New Hartford Town Court and then sent to the Oneida County Jail; he will appear in court at a later date.

The upcoming LunarCharge from Nike combines three of the company’s better known silhouettes: The Air Presto, Air Current and the Air Max 90. This mash up features the breathable, sock-like upper of the Presto, the eyelets of the Air Max 90, and the subtle reference of the overall silhouette of the Air Current and a bonus is the cushioned outsole of the LunarEpic. Back in September, we covered the Nike HyperAdapt 1.0, an innovative shoe from Nike that featured  LED lighting  that light up as adaptive lacing system is tightening the shoe.  Now the Beaverton, Oregon based company has announced a release date and price for this anticipate shoe. Stealing is bad, stealing sneakers is stupid and stealing from your family is deplorable. Javontae Garrett of Simsbury,Connecticut has the unfortunate distinction of achieving this atrocious ternion.
