The daughter of Deion Sanders, Alabama A&M guard Shelomi Sanders, has signed a NIL deal with Dexcom U. Dexcom U is the NIL arm of Dexcom, the company is a “pioneer in continuous glucose monitoring (CGM). Player Spotlight- A’ja Wilson & Angel Reese A’ja Wilson scored 28 points and grabbed 10 rebounds in the Las Vegas Aces 104-85 thumping of the Los Angeles Sparks. Since leaving the Highest of Seven Hills, former Florida A&M basketball player Nasir Core has plied his craft all over the world, playing for Achada Grande Volcanico in the Cape Verdian Praia League. DeMar DeRozan sent to Kings in three-team sign and trade

Free agent guard DeMar DeRozan was acquired by the Sacramento Kings in a three-team sign-and-trade, inking a 3-year, $74 deal.  The deal sends forward Harrison Barnes and an unprotected 2031 pick swap to the San Antonio Spurs, while the Chicago Bulls receive guard Chris Duarte, two-second draft picks and cash.  Barnes, 32, appeared in and started, all 82 games for the Kings, averaging 12.2 points, 3.0 rebounds, and 1.2 assists per contest. In our recent video “Where DeMar DeRozan should NOT sign”, Sacramento was raised, albeit briefly as a potential landing spot for DeRozan. It appears that video may prove to be prophetic.  According to Shams Charania of The Athletic, DeRozan is headed to Sacramento to meet with the Kings’ brass. It seems that Kendrick Perkins was proven right as James didn’t take a pay cut, agreeing to a 2-year deal worth $104 million.
