James received SWAC accolades after a stellar week in four Grambling State matches. She was selected to the UNA Volleyball Classic All-Tournament Team after her phenomenal three-match performance against North Alabama, New Orleans and Lamar. James, playing in her first two matches for Grambling State last weekend at the Saluki Bash, recorded 24 total kills as the Lady Tigers went 1-1.
