Freshman Terrell Robinson continued his hot start from Winston-Salem last month with two first place finishes at the VCU Invitational. The talented freshman posted a 6.74 time in the 60m final, and a 21.90 in the 200m. Not to be outdone, fellow freshman, Kailen Perry won the 400m with a time of 49.54. Even more impressive is the Falcons had the top four finishes in this event.
The Falcons in Virginia Beach
- Kailen Perry(freshman), Shawn Walls (freshman), and Skyy Lawrence (sophomore) finished 2nd, 9th, and 10th in the men’s 200m with times of 22.07, 22.37, 22.38 respectively
- Ha’Mir Hampton (freshman), Sean Kalawan (sophomore), Shawn Walls, Skyy Lawrence, and Isaiah Chapman (junior) placed top 10 finishes in the men’s 400m (2nd, 3rd, 4th, 7th, and 8th) with times of 49.75, 49.82, 50.23, 51.25, and 51.66 respectively
- Kahlil West (sophomore) finished second in the men’s high jump at 6’3.5″
- Isaiah Rozien (JR) placed 3rd in the men’s triple jump finals with a 48’4″
- Freshman Jayden Dickens placed ninth in the men’s weighted throw at 36’3″
