Former Tigers standout Isaiah Bolden has signed with the Philadelphia Eagles, giving the 26-year-old cornerback another opportunity to continue his NFL career.
The Eagles announced the move Monday, signing Bolden and releasing offensive lineman Hollin Pierce.
Bolden originally entered the NFL after the New England Patriots selected him in the seventh round of the 2023 NFL Draft with the 245th overall pick out of Jackson State. He spent two seasons with New England before later spending time with the San Francisco 49ers’ practice squad.
Before reaching the NFL, Bolden transferred from Florida State to Jackson State, where he became one of the SWAC’s top defensive backs and return specialists.
During his final collegiate season in 2022, Bolden recorded 44 tackles and seven pass breakups, earning Second-Team All-SWAC honors. He was also named an HBCU All-American kick returner in 2021.
Bolden brings plenty of size and athleticism to Philadelphia at 6-foot-2 and 205 pounds. He now joins an Eagles secondary looking to finalize its roster ahead of the 2026 regular season.
For Jackson State, Bolden’s latest opportunity represents another reminder of the talent that continues to come through the HBCU ranks.
From Thee I Love to Philly.
