Albany State won its seventh consecutive game and completed SIAC Eastern Division confefence play with an unblemished 6-0 record with a dominating 40-6 victory in the 29th Annual Fountain City Classic. The Tuskegee Golden Tigers earned a hard fought victory at Wildcat Stadium 17-6. It was the home team Fort Valley that got the scoring going late in the opening quarter when Abisai Gutierrez knocked through a 33-yard field goal to put the Wildcats up 3-0.
