Albany State Baseball recipient of Phil Niekro Scholarship Award
Courtesy of Albany State Athletics This past Saturday night Coach Hemmings was presented a check from the Atlanta 400 Baseball Fan Club (formerly Braves 400 Fan Club) in the amount of $1500.00. The donation was a part of the Phil Niekro scholarship and is given annually to two college baseball programs. This year’s award went to Albany State University and Oglethorpe University.
