Memphis Grizzlies rookie sensation Ja Morant is off to a tremendous start in his maiden NBAvoyage. In his first games, the number two overall selection has averaged 18.6 points, 6.4 assists and 3.2 rebounds per game. He had been playing well prior to his injury and was resembling the All-Star player that signed with the Celtics two years ago; through the first eight games he had averaged 18.9 points, 7.1 rebounds, and 4.1 assists on a scorching 55.5% from the floor, including 43.3% from downtown.
