Otto Porter return unknown

The timetable for Chicago Bulls’ forward Otto Porter is unknown, according to a report by Eric Woodyard of ESPN. Porter was diagnosed with a left foot sprain and will not play in the Bulls game against the Houston Rockets on Saturday. Bulls head coach Jim Boylen had this to say according to Woodyard: “It’s a soft tissue injury so it’s something that’s difficult to put a timetable on. That’s about as easy as I could say. We’re not exactly sure.“I don’t want to give you a definite timetable because it…

According to The Athletic and Stadium’s Shams Charnia, Blake Griffin, who has yet to play in 2019-20 due to hamstring and knee issues, has been cleared to resume basketball activities and is now listed as “day-to-day.” Unfortunately for the six-time All-Star, injuries are not all that uncommon. The hope in Detroit is Griffin can build upon his first season in the Motor City that saw him average…

Chandler Hutchison suffers hamstring injury

Bulls wing Chandler Hutchison suffered a hamstring injury yesterday during a workout. The Bulls announced the injury earlier today. If Bulls fans are letting out collective groans it is because last season the injury bug kicked the team in the junk before the season began with several key players (Lauri Markkanen, elbow; Kris Dunn, MCL; Bobby Portis MCL) missing substantial time and Denzel Valentine was out for the entire season with an ankle injury (that had nothing to do with what Frank Nitty did to him in the Drew League.…

DeMarcus Cousins just cannot catch a break from a health standpoint. The two worst injuries that can derail a basketball player’s career are an Achilles tear and blowing out a knee. Unfortunately, Boogie can now check both of those off his injuries suffered list. After suffering a knee injury Monday during a workout, further evaluation revealed that Cousins had torn an ACL, according to a report from The Athletic and Stadium’s Shams Charania. It’s an unfortunate break for a player in Cousins who was still coming back from the Achilles…

KD’s Achilles injuries proves why Kawhi Leonard was right last season

When Kevin Durant went down in Game 5 in a 6’11” heap it did not look good. While I have no rooting interest in these NBA Finals, I just want to see a good series that everyone plays well, makes it through healthy and is marred from controversy. It appears that I will not get all I asked for out of this series.  Down 3-1, it was really no surprise that Kevin Durant played in Game 5, however seeing him go down brings up a lot of questions, the most…
