Brittney Griner’s time in Chinese captivity has finally come to an end. The basketball star has been in Russian custody since February, when a small amount of cannibis oil was found in her luggage. Deion Sanders had his introductory press conference today and he announced that his son Shadeur would play for the Buffaloes. The younger Sanders accompanied his father to Boulder shortly after Jackson State’s 43-24 victory to claim their second consecutive SWAC Championship. Bethune-Cookman tight end Kemari Averett is seeking to ply his trade at the next level. The Atlanta, GA native made the announcement Wednesday afternoon in a social media post in which he expressed his gratitude to the university, teammates and coaches.
