Clippers trade Rusell Westbrook to Jazz, expected to end up in Denver

According to Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN, Russell Westbrook has been traded to the Utah Jazz (again). The Jazz are expected to buy Westbrook out, paving the way for the former MVP to join the Denver Nuggets.  TNT Sports’ Chris Haynes reported Kris Dunn will agree to a 3-year, $4 million deal with the Clippers. According to sneakerfiles, the Lebron x Deion Sanders Nike LeBron XXI will reportedly be released in 2025. Jackson State picked to finish third in SWAC East, five Tigers named Preseason All-SWAC

Courtesy of Jackson State Athletics The Southwestern Athletic Conference (SWAC) released the 2024 Preseason Football Teams on Tuesday morning as part of Media Day activities and Jackson State placed five players on the two teams combined. Evan Henry returns as a First Team selection after earning Second Team honors last season after helping the offense average 161.6 yards per game running 227.7 yards passing. An image of a new colorway for the next signature shoe for Ja Morant, the Ja 2.  The new color sports a magenta leather upper underlaid with a mesh of the same hue. The ribbed side panel is home to a teal Swoosh; reportedly, the Swooshes on the left and right shoe will featured a different hue. Grambling’s Myles Crawley named SWAC Preseason Offensive Player of The Year

Courtesy of Curtis Ford, Grambling Athletics Grambling State University quarterback Myles Crawley was named the Southwestern Athletic Conference (SWAC) Preseason Player of the Year, announced by the conference on Tuesday morning. Crawley solidified himself as one of the best up and coming quarterbacks in the SWAC during the 2023 campaign. Crawley threw for 2,303 yards with a 16 touchdowns last season. He was the first Grambling State quarterback to throw for at least 2,000 yards since Devante Kincaid in 2017. PE Corner: North Carolina Football unveils PE Air Jordan 3 cleats

North Carolina football unveiled a Player Exclusive edition of an Air Jordan 3 cleat.  Borrowing its aesthetic from the “UNC” Air Jordan 3, they sport a white leather upper with elephant print overlays at the toe and wrapping the heel. Kobe Bryant’s father, Joe “Jellybean” Bryant passes at age 69

Former NBA player Joe “Jellybean” Bryant, the father of Hall of Famer Kobe Bryant, has died. He was 69. An official cause of Bryant’s death was not announced as of Tuesday morning. La Salle University, where Bryant played and coached, said in a statement that Bryant “was a beloved member of the Explorer family and will be dearly missed.” Longtime Philadelphia-area basketball coach Fran Dunphy, who currently is the head coach at La Salle, told the Philadelphia Inquirer that Bryant recently suffered a massive stroke.
