Benedict wins SIAC Tournament

Courtesy of Benedict Athletics ROCK HILL, S.C. – The Benedict College Lady Tigers rallied from a 10-point fourth-quarter deficit to defeat 12th-ranked Savannah State University and repeat as SIAC Champions on Saturday in the Rock Hill Sports & Events Center. The Albany State women’s basketball team defeated tthe Dragons of Lane College 68-57 to advance to the semi-finals of the SIAC women’s basketball tournament From Albany State Athletics. This year’s all-conference teams, which feature ten student-athletes, were voted on by the league’s head coaches and sports information directors.
