Albany State Baseball gets first win of season

The Albany State Golden Rams baseball team earned their first win of the season after defeating the Auburn University at Montgomery War Hawks (7-0) on Thursday afternoon.  The Golden Rams improved to (1-1) while the War Hawks fell to (1-4).
 
In the 1st inning, Lavoisier Fisher hit a 2-run homer to give the Golden Rams a (2-0) lead.  The Golden Rams extended the lead to (3-0) when Tucker Jordan drew a walk with the bases loaded.
 
The Golden Rams scored again in the 3rdinning when Austin Robert hit a sacrifice fly to left field that scored Nate Lloyd.  Johnathan Logsdon drew a walk with the bases loaded to give the Golden Rams a (5-0) lead.
 
In the 6th inning, Luke Addison scored on an error to extend the lead to (6-0).  The Golden Rams scored their 7th run in the game when Chase Karn was hit by a pitch with the bases loaded.
 
Jeremiah Reddell earned his 1st win of the season.  Reddell pitched 6 scoreless innings for the Golden Rams.
