Albany State was unable to hold off a second half surge from Miles as the Golden Rams fell to the Golden Bears 62-59. MIles came out strong, taking an early 7-0 lead , Albany State woudl battle back to take a brief lead at 12-11 on a Terin Wofford jumpshot. It wasn’t always pretty, but the The Albany State women’s basketball managed to secure a win over Miles College Monday afternoon, 49-41. In a game in which the teams combined for 45 turnovers, the Golden Rams were able to avoid a few of the mistakes that ultimately befell their Golden Bear opponents. Tennessee State offensive lineman Robert Lacey has accepted an invitation to participated in the 2023 HBCU Legacy Bowl. Lacey earned 2022 Preseason All-OVC honours and made the 2023 Senior Bowl Watchlist , as he helped open up holes for a TSU offense that featured two backs in Jalen Rouse and Devon Starling that each ran for over 500 yards and averaged at least 4.7 yards per carry.
