Early in the season, Albany State scored a surprising 68-60 win over Tuskegee and it appears they had not forgotten about that set back as they laid an 85-40 beat down on the Golden Rams Monday night. Prairie View’s Jailon Howard enters transfer portal

Prairie View A&M wide receiver Jailon Howard has entered the transfer portal. The redshirt senios made the announcement Monday night in a social media post. The Missouri, Texas product pulled in 16 receptions and lead the team in both receiving yards with 336 yards and touchdowns with 3. In his PVAMU career, Howard caught 43 passes for 878 yards and 8 touchdowns.

Delaware State fires Rod Milstead

Nitro High School’s Taylor Maddox commits to West Virginia State

West Virginia high school basketball player Taylor Maddox has committed to West Virginia State. Maddox, a senior at Nitro High School, which is a pretty kick-ass name for a high school, has averaged 7.6 points per game her three seasons of play for the Wildcats. In her junior campaign last season she averaged 12.8 ppg and knocking down 38 three-pointers in 24 games. Maddox’s senior season will tip off December 3 at 4pm with a home matchup with Robert C. Byrd High School.
