Tennessee State finished the regular season on a high note with a nearly wire-to-wire 74-69 defeat of Southern Illinois.  Southern Illinois took an early 3-0 lead on Ryan Hall’s three-pointer on the Screaming Eagles and the contest’s opening possession. Tennessee State women’s hoops headed to OVC Tournament after 73-64 defeat of Southern Illinois

Jinmy Butler sued for unpaid rent and damages to posh Miami Beach home

Golden State Warriors forward Jimmy Butler has been slapped with a lawsuit for unpaid rent and damages concerning a luxury home in Miami Beach, FL that he leased. In a suit filed last week in Florida’s 11th Circuit Court, Five Star Marketing and Promotions allege that the former Miami Heat star did pay months at &130,000 per month and also leftover $127,000 in damages. Stupid Things People Do For Sneakers: $2 million worth of Nikes stolen from train

Two million dollars worth of Nike sneakers were pilfered in a brazen train heist as the train was traveling through California and Arizona.  The stolen shipment consisted of unreleased and highly sought sneakers, many of which were reportedly the “Brick by Brick” Nigel Sylvester x Air Jordan 4. This rendition of the Nike Book 1 pays tribute to Flagstaff, Arizona, and its ponderosa pine forests.  They sport a fir nubuck upper that features a topographical pattern inspired by and representing the city’s rugged landscape. Large, white-bordered Swooshes adorn the lateral and medial sides, while the Arizona sunset serves as the backdrop for the Book 1 branding on the tongue.
