In a recent training session, Jimmy Butler was spotted in a new colorway of his Li-Ning JB3 sneaker. They sport a yellow and black Boom Fiber upper with a large white Li-Ning logo on the lateral side. On the tongue is Jimmy Butler branding, with an additional logo present at the rear heel.  Underneath the aforementioned upper resides a Li-Ning Boom-equipped midsole and a Ground Control Unit outsole, which is the company’s proprietary polyurethane, which is incorporated into the rubber outsole.  There is no solid release information surrounding this sneaker;…

The Big South-OVC Football Association named its weekly honorees and a pair of Tennessee State Tigers, quarterback Draylen Ellis, and linebacker Sanders Ellis were among the recognized players. Co-Offensive Player of the Week- Draylen Ellis | Quarterback | Tennessee State  Ellis put together his second strong outing of the season. Tennessee State wins 35th Southern Heritage Classic 41-28 over UAPB

In front of a crowd of 27,584, The 35th Southern Heritage Classic played out very similar to the 34th iteration of the game. Tennessee State, this time powered by special teams and strong quarterback play, built a big lead early only to have to withstand a furious UAPB comeback attempt to hang on and win. Florida Memorial running back Walter Wilbon III was named Sun Conference Offensive Player of the Week.  Against Edward Waters in the Big Cat Classic, Wilbon carried the ball 21 times for 170 yards and 4 touchdowns in the Lions’ 31-21 win.  Both his yardage and touchdown tallies are career highs for the senior out of Tampa, Florida.
