UAPB Football named Tom Manley Running Backs Coach, Special Teams Coordinator

Courtesy of UAPB Athletics  The head football coach at the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff, Alonzo Hampton, has announced the hiring of Tom Manley as the running backs coach and special teams coordinator. Coach Manley joins the Golden Lions staff after spending the last two seasons as the Offensive Coordinator at Lincoln University in Pennsylvania.  During his time at Lincoln, Coach Manley engineered an offense that set 11 school records in 2023. Tennessee State football places 6 on Big South-OVC Defensive Players to Watch List

The Big South-OVC released the 2024 Defensive Players to Watch List and six Tennessee State players were named to the list. Eriq George | Defensive Lineman| Spohomore George put together a freshman campaign in which he recorded 25 total tackles ( 13 solos, 12 assisted) 6.0 tackles for loss and 2.5 sacks. Jackson State picked to finish third in SWAC East, five Tigers named Preseason All-SWAC
