Savannah State hires Aaron Kelton as new head football coach

from Savannah State Athletics: Savannah State Athletics has hired Aaron Kelton as the 27th head football coach, Director of Athletics Opio Mashariki announced Tuesday morning. Kelton arrived on campus this morning to meet with the team and administration. West Virginia State guard Glen Abrams has been named BOXTOROW Division II Player of the Year. The graduate student from Chicago, Ill. finished seventh in the Mountain East Conference in scoring (19.6), led the conference in three-point field goals made per game (3.0), averaged 4.0 rebounds per game, and averaged 3.0 assists per game. Albany State sweeps Tuskegee

Courtesy Dr. Earnest Brown, Albany State University Athletics The Golden Rams improved to 15-7 (14-3 in the SIAC) after sweeping the Tuskegee University Tigers.  The Tigers are now 10-11 (8-6 in the SIAC).    The Golden Rams defeated the Tigers 20-12 in the final game of the series.  Lavoisier Fisher, Lachlan Rossand Nathan Lloyd were the players of the game.  Fisher went 3-3 at the plate for the Golden Rams.  Fisher scored 3 runs and had 1 RBI.  Ross went 1-3 at the plate.  Ross hit a home run, scored 2 runs and had 6 RBIs. …

Albany State spanks Tuskegee in first two games of series

Albany State baseball got off to a smashing good start in their three-game series with the Golden Tigers of Tuskegee University, handing out a pair of beatdowns to the tune of 10-3 and 20-8, respectively.
