Kelly Oubre Jr. was struck by a vehicle in Philly

Philadelphia 76ers guard Kelly Oubre was taken to a local hospital after being struck by a vehicle in Center City, Philadelphia on Saturday evening. Team representatives are at Oubre’s bedside, including team president Daryl Morey. He is expected to miss significant time, however, the injuries he suffered are not considered to be season-ending. According to the club, Oubre was walking near his home in downtown Philadelphia when he was hit by the vehicle. Dillon Brooks fined for ball shot

The NBA announced it handed down a $25,000 fine to Houston Rockets forward due to Brooks, extra-ciricular on court antics. With less than seven and a half minutes left in the first quarter of the Rockets’ October 10 preseason game against the Indiana Pacers, Brooks whacked Pacers’ forward Daniel Theis in the nether region.
