FAMU x Nike Pegasus 40 coming August 3

Nike has dropped another FAMU sneaker, with the canvas for this latest endeavor being the Pegasus 40. It sports a white mesh upper adorned on the lateral sides with green Swooshes. Orange is present on the midfoot band , which coincides with the tongue of the same hue. The typical branding on the tongue label has been repalced with “FLORIDA A&M RATTLERS” , with “A&M” appearing on both lower lateral heels. FAMU x APB x Nike LeBron XX pack on the way

Since the partnership between FAMU and NIke/LeBron James was announced in 2021, the Rattlers have been outfitted in some of the most visually well-executed team-exclusive footwear in all of the college sports, with the fleet of Rattler-specific footwear including iterations of the Lebron XVIII, XVIII Low, XIX, and XX.  Earlier in the year, a retail launch of a FAMU version of the Lebron VII took place to great fanfare, with the sneakers selling out quickly in many locations. FAMU Baseball to take on Florida Gulf Coast this weekend

The Florida A&M Baseball (5-9, 0-0 SWAC) team is gearing up for a three-game home series against Florida Gulf Coast ( 12-2, 0-0 ASUN) this weekend at Moore-Kittles field. The first game takes place Friday afternoon , with first pitch scheduled for 5:00 PM EST. Saturday’s matchup is scheduled for 2:00 pm and the series finale on Sunday will begin at noon CST. The two teams last matched up in 2021, a 3-2 defeat for the Rattlers; FAMU is 3-12 all-time against FGCU.

Alabama A&M looks to keep wins rolling against Florida A&M

Deion Sanders agrees that FAMU should have been in the FCS playoffs

Despite going 9-2, including winning nine consecutive games after dropping their first two contest, the selection committee saw fit to snub FAMU from the postseason. The exclusion of Florida A&M from the FCS playoffs caused consternation, only in Rattler Nation ,but many in the HBCU fanbase and media contingent. Friday we reported on images of an, up until that point, never before seen pair of FAMU-specific LeBron XX that surfaced via the twitter account of Rattlers head coach, Willie Simmons in a since-deleted tweet. Shortly after that tweet was deleted , the FAMU Athletics Instagram account posted clear beauty shots of the aforementioned kicks. This latest set of images allows for a better look at the upper , which features a snake scale aesthetic.
