Tennessee State caps homecoming with 24-7 defeat of Howard

Tennessee State and Howard meet in another homecoming matchup: What we think will happen

It’s homecoming at Tennessee State and the Tigers will host the Bison of Howard University. Jackson State tabbed HBCU FCS Team of the Week. 

Jackson State was named the HBCU FCS Team of the week. In the team’s most recent outing, Jackson State defeated Southern 38-13 in the BoomBox Classic, shutting out the Jags in the second half.  It was Jackson State’s seventh consecutive win over its Baton Rouge-based rivals. The Tigers also have been ranked No.1 in Dr. Cavil’s Inside the HBCU Sports Lab top 7 poll rankings for 11 consecutive weeks.
