The “Hornets” Air Jordan 9 was created as an exclusive colorway for the man himself, Michael Jordan in 2019 when NBA All-Star Weekend was held in Charlotte.  They sport a white leather upper overlaid with that of a supple-looking purple leather rand that also extends up the heel and collar. Rasheed Wallace says MJ “wasn’t that good of a defender”

Former perennial All-Star and NBA Champion Rasheed Wallace decided to take some unecessary and unprompted pot shots at Michael Jordan. SPeaking recently on a podcast Wallace said that MJ’s defense was not that good and that the NBA gifted him many of his 9 selections to the All-Defensive 1st team.
