Former Kentucky State Women’s Volleyball Coach Dishondra Goree passes away

Courtesy of the SIAC Kentucky State University Athletics mourns the loss of former women’s volleyball head coach DiShondra Goree. Goree joined Kentucky State in 2018 where the Thorobreds concluded their season at 23-22 overall and 14-3 in the SIAC. The team participated in the 2018 SIAC postseason tournament as the second seed in the Western Division. In the 2019 season, Coach Goree the Thorobred volleyball program to a 25-14 season and 16-2 in the SIAC conference. The Thorobreds ended their season as the 2019 SIAC Runner-ups for the second consecutive season. She left a…
