Grambling women’s hoops adds five

Courtesy of Grambling State Athletic Communications Grambling State University head women’s basketball coach Freddie Murray announced the addition of five new players for the upcoming season.  Murray welcomed the addition of Amanda Blake, Tiana Gardner, Jazmyne Jackson, Miracle Saxon andDe’Maya Young.  Blake comes to Grambling State after spending the past two seasons at UNC Asheville. Grambling women’s soccer to hold ID camp

From Grambling State Athletic Communications The Grambling State University women’s soccer team announced an ID Camp for all interested female players 8th grade through Junior College Freshman in college.  Current Grambling State students that are underclassmen wanting to register can attend. This will be a two-session ID camp hosted from 5 p.m. – 7:30 p.m. on Friday September 16 at the GSU Soccer Complex, and again on Sept. 17 from 8:30 a.m. – 10:30 a.m.    The cost to attend the two-day camp is $75.  All 2023-2026 high school grads and JC transfers that have interest in playing for…

Three more Grambling games added to ESPN docket

Courtesy of Grambling State Athletic Communications The Grambling State University football team will play three additional games on ESPN+, the Southwestern Athletic Conference (SWAC) announced on Friday.  With the additional three games, Grambling State now will play four games on ESPN+, one on ESPNU and one on NBC/Peacock.  Grambling State will meet Bethune-Cookman (3 p.m. central time kickoff) on ESPN+ on September 24 and two of the three home games at Eddie G. An initial look at the FAMU x Nike Dunk Low

On the heels of the recently unveiled Clark Atlanta version, images of a FAMU version of the Nike Dunk Low have come to light. This Dunk Low sports a white leather foundational layer overlaid with orange at the toe, eyerow and wrapping the heel. Green Swooshes adorn the lateral and medial sides. Mississippi Valley State names Hakim McClellan new Director of Athletics
