Saint Augustine University’s world-renowaned track coach George Williams was involved in a car accident while he was in Qatar for the World Track and Field Championships. Williams’ family released a statement saying the legendary coach was alert and expected to make a full recovery. “While in Qatar for the World Track and Field Championships, Coach George Williams was involved in a vehicle accident. ALBANY, Ga. – The Albany State University football team grows its winning streak to three on Saturday evening as the Golden Rams defeated the Golden Tigers of Tuskegee University 21-0 in a Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SIAC) cross division contest at the ASU Coliseum.
