Police in Snohomish County, Washington arrested a man who shot his way into a mall to steal sneakers.  Last January Micah Snyder shot into the Aldenwood Mall to break into Sneak City to steal high-end sneakers. Surveillance footage depicts the suspect firing multiple rounds at the glass door of the shopping center, taking a handful of shoes, and running out the front door. Houston Rockets guard Jalen Green is not the biggest Draymond Green fan. The two exchange words in a kerfuffle at center court following the conclusion of Game 3 of the Warriors and Rockets opening round playoff series, a 104-93 Golden State win. Lu Dort says he didn’t mean to hit Ja Morant

With 3:15 reamining in the second quarter after a steal , Scottie Pippen Jr dropped it off to Ja Morant who was filling the lane. Morant elevate to throw down a highlight reel dunk but Lu Dort made contact with Morant, sending him careening to the floor in a heap.  Morant lay on the FedEx Forum hardwood for several minutes before being helped up. The Minnesota Timberwolves puts boots to the collective tooshies of the Los Angeles Lakers to the tune of a 117-95 beating in Game 1 of their opening round playoff series.  Anthony Edwards scored 22 points, albeit on 8-22 from the floor, but handed out 9 assists and grabbed four rebounds. Damian Lillard reacts to Giannis being named MVP Finalist

The NBA released its finalists for its season awards on Sunday, including the crown jewel of individual league honors, the Most Valuable Player award. Giannis Antetokounmpo was among the three finalists for the award, along with Nikola Jokić of the Denver Nuggets and Shai Gilgeous-Alexander of the Oklahoma City Thunder.  Antetokounmpo’s teammate, Damian Lillard, shared an Instagram story to congratulate his running mate. If you wondered what happened to Bol Bol during the later portion of the season, you certainly have company in that camp. Initially reported by Offscript, Florida A&M is finalising deal to make former Heisman trophy and NBA player Charlie Ward the Rattlers’ new men’s basketball coach.
