After eight seasons leading the program, Patrick Gayle has stepped down as head men’s basketball coach at Albany State Golden Rams, effective immediately. Miami University head basketball coach Travis Steele was fined $2,500 by the Mid-American Conference for his actions during Miami’S game against Western Michigan on Friday the conference announced Tuesday morning.  At halftime of the Miami/Western Michigan game, Steele, apparently displeased with a call and the explanation given to him by provided by game officials, stormed off the court.
