Tennessee State lands seven on Big South-OVC Offensive Players to Watch list

Grambling’s Myles Crawley named SWAC Preseason Offensive Player of The Year

Courtesy of Curtis Ford, Grambling Athletics Grambling State University quarterback Myles Crawley was named the Southwestern Athletic Conference (SWAC) Preseason Player of the Year, announced by the conference on Tuesday morning. Crawley solidified himself as one of the best up and coming quarterbacks in the SWAC during the 2023 campaign. Crawley threw for 2,303 yards with a 16 touchdowns last season. He was the first Grambling State quarterback to throw for at least 2,000 yards since Devante Kincaid in 2017. Alabama A&M football to have trio of games streamed on SWAC Digital Network

courtesy The Alabama A&M University football team will have three games streamed on the SWAC Digital Network, the Southwestern Athletic Conference (SWAC) announced during media day on Tuesday at the Sheraton-Birmingham Hotel.  Alabama A&M will play its first two home games on Sept. 7 and Sept. 14 against Kentucky State and Georgetown (Ky.), respectively. This weekend, unfortunate news broke that Talladega College would have to discontinue its gymnastics program after just one season due to university financial health concerns. We were told by sources that the team received no prior notice, only finding out the day the decision was announced.  The Tornadoes’ gymnastics was not a mere can upon which to be beaten by every opponent they faced.
