Fisk won the game by a score of 75-70, despite two losses to Dillard in the regular season. The victory was led by head coach Kenny Anderson, who was able to guide his team to the win. Senior Maya Buckhanon (SR/Talladega, AL) received the top honors, winning the GCAC Player of the Year, All-Defensive Team, Defensive Player of the Year, Newcomer of the Year, and 1st Team All Conference awards.
