Courtesy of the SIAC The Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SIAC) has announced its men’s and women’s basketball Players of the Week. For women, Tatum Hayes (Edward Waters) was named Player of the Week, while Iemyiah Harris (Miles)earned Newcomer of the Week. For men, K.J. Doucet (Fort Valley State) was named Player of the Week, alongside teammate, Rodney Battle (Miles) who earned Newcomer of the Week, released by the league office on Tuesday. The Albany State men’s hoops team won their second straight game by defeating Tuskegee72-67 Monday night. Early in the season, Albany State scored a surprising 68-60 win over Tuskegee and it appears they had not forgotten about that set back as they laid an 85-40 beat down on the Golden Rams Monday night.
