Albany State Softball to take on Georgia Southwestern

Courtesy of Dr. Earnest Brown, Albany State Athletics The Golden Rams softball team will travel to Americus, Georgia to play the Georgia Southwestern University Hurricanes, on April 20.  This will be the Golden Rams first game since Sunday, April 10.  The Golden Rams are 30-4 (14-2 in the SIAC) while the Hurricanes are 27-18 overall.  The Golden Rams are 10-2 on the road while the Hurricanes are 14-6 at home.  The Golden Rams have won 16 out of their last 17 games.  The Golden Rams and Hurricanes last played on February…

Tennessee State Basketball signs 3-star forward Learic Davis

Via Tennessee State University Athletics The Tennessee State men’s basketball team announces the signing of Learic Davis, a three-star prospect out of Milwaukee, WI. The 6’7″ guard played at Milwaukee Bradley Tech under coach Shon Haralson, leading the Trojans to a 17-6 record and a conference championship. Downs was named to the Virginia Sports Information Directors (VaSID) University Division All-State Second Team, the organization announced on Thursday. The Fredericksburg, Virginia native has racked up accolades entire season.
