Albany State Tennis finishes 3rd in SIAC
Despite not winning the conference title this weekend, the team was able to defeat the Panthers of Clark-Atlanta University in the consolation at the SIAC Tournament, 5-2. Asia Raulerson, Bianca Leao, Carla Sorroche and Sumana Panauganti were all victorious in their singles matches. In doubles competition, Leao and Panauganti claimed their match 6-2 ; Doylisha Copeland and Allyah Williams were also victors, winning match by a 6-2 count as well. With the win the Golden Rams complete the 2022 season with an 18-6 record.

The Albany State tennis team will not be playing for a shot at the conference title, as they were defeated in their semi-final match with the Tigers of Savannah State, 5-2.
