Norfolk State mourns passing of coach Wilhelmina Harrison

She was 72. Harrison most recently served as NSU’s head bowling coach from 2005-20. A three-time MEAC Coach of the Year (2011-13), Harrison led the Spartans to four straight MEAC Northern Division bowling titles (2010-14) and the school’s first-ever MEAC bowling title in 2012. Tuesday morning Tennessee State University lady basketballer Saniah Parker was announced as Ohio Valley Conference Freshman of the week. In helping the Lady Tigers go 2-0 last week, Parker scored 14 against UT Martin and followed that up with a season, and career-high 18 points against Southeast Missouri. Moton’s late game bucket lifts Grambling 68-66 over Bethune-Cookman
