Albany State, powered by a defense that held Lincoln-Missouri scoreless in the second half, defeated the Blue Tigers 30-10. Albany State’s Marquez Thomas’ interception set the Golden Rams’ offense on the Lincoln 22-yard line. ASU would take advantage of the turnover on a Kelan Fraise 1 yard touchdown run. The Tigers of Tennessee State University were able to procure their first conference win this Saturday with a 45-21 win over Eastern Kentucky. TSU’s defense came out strong, pitching a shut out in the first half and only giving up 119 yards of offense.
