Florida Memorial women’s hoops’ season ends in second round of NCAA Tourney

| Florida Memorial University’s dream season comes to an end as they fall 68-47 to Freed-Hardeman in the second round of the NAIA Women’s Basketball National Tournament at the Brewer Sports Center. The Lady Lions of Freed-Hardeman went on a furious 14-2 run to open the game, and FMU could never fully recover from the initial blow. The Lions were led by 2024-25 SUN Conference Women’s Basketball Player of the Year Kamesha Moore who finished with a team-high 12 points on 3-of-6 shooting from beyond the arc to go along with two rebounds…

Norfolk State draws Florida in NCAA First Round

An initial look at the “University Blue” Nike Kobe VIII Protro

This upcoming Kobe VIII Protro features a university blue engineered mesh upper with large, robustly embroidered Swooshes on the lateral side. With smaller such branding present on the medial side. A Kobe logo is perched atop the tongue, while a much larger iteration of the logo appears on the rear heel.  Underneath the aforementioned upper resides a university blue midsole and white rubber outsole.  The “University Blue” Nike Kobe VIII is planned to debut later this year. Norfolk State women’s hoops claims third straight MEAC Tournament

Kierra Wheeler led the Spartans with 19 points, adding seven rebounds, six blocks, and four steals, while Diamond Johnson tallied 16 points, four rebounds, and two assists. Norfolk State erases 11-point deficit to win fourth MEAC Tournament

In the Lakers’ recent game against the Minnesota Timberwolves, a 111-102 Lakers win, LeBron James laced up the “Christ the King” LeBron XXII PEs.
