Allen University XC receives team award, more than 6 dozen athletes earned Conference All-Academic Honours

Courtesy of the SIAC  The Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference recognized 1,127 student-athletes for their academic excellence Wednesday, including 76 student-athletes from Allen University. Among the highlights, Allen’s Women’s Cross Country team was awarded the SIAC’s Team Award for posting a 3.37 cumulative grade point average as a team, the highest among their SIAC foes.  The SIAC Commissioner’s All-Academic Team features student-athletes who earned a 3.2 or better cumulative grade point average for the past academic year. ASU is heading to Columbia, SC to take on the Tigers of Benedict on Thursday. They will follow that up with a game against Allen University on February 19.
