Grambling soccer named preseason SWAC favorites

Courtesy of Grambling State Athletic Communications: The Grambling State University women’s soccer program received 136 total points and was predicted to win the Southwestern Athletic Conference (SWAC), the conference announced on Friday.  Grambling State, which fell in the conference tournament championship game a year ago, grabbed one first-place vote and 136 points to earn the top spot. The Lady Tigers went 9-7-3 overall last season and 6-2-1 in conference play.  Prairie View A&M, the SWAC Women’s Tournament champions, earned six first-place votes and 132 points to be tabbed second. From Grambling State Athletic Communications The Grambling State University women’s soccer team announced an ID Camp for all interested female players 8th grade through Junior College Freshman in college.  Current Grambling State students that are underclassmen wanting to register can attend.
