Tennessee State wide receiver JJ Holloman has accepted an invitation to take part in this year’s HBCU Legacy Bowl, according to a tweet from the game Friday afternoon. Ed Reed to become Bethune-Cookman’s next head coach

Bethune-Cookman has reached an agreement in principle to make NFL Hall of Fame player Ed Reed the University’s 16th head football coach. The University made the announcement Tuesday evening. Southern University sophomore tight end Ethan Howard announced he was entering the transfer portal. The Cecilia High School ( Breaux Bridge, LA) product informed the world of his decision Monday in post to his Twitter account. Last season Howard was Southern’s second-leading leading receiver, hailing in 29 passes for 351 yards and four touchdowns.
