Courtesy of Bryce Hoynof , Bethune-Cookman Athletics Bethune-Cookman’s Kemari Averett has been named a 2022 BOXTOROW HBCU All-American, it was announced Monday.  Return man Darnell Deas was named an honorable mention. A graduate student tight end from Atlanta, Ga., Averett caught 39 passes for 445 and seven touchdowns, the third highest total in the SWAC this season. Deion Sanders had his introductory press conference today and he announced that his son Shadeur would play for the Buffaloes. The younger Sanders accompanied his father to Boulder shortly after Jackson State’s 43-24 victory to claim their second consecutive SWAC Championship.
