Courtesy of Jackson State Athletics  For the second week in a row Jackson State’s Hope Briggs has been tabbed Southwestern Athletic Conference Newcomer of the Week for outstanding performance over the weekend at the McNeese Invitational. Hope Briggs continues to shine in her freshman season as she posted 13 kills and five blocks in JSU’s 3-2 win over Southeast Missouri Friday morning. Tennessee State’s James Green named OVC-Big South Defensive Player of the Week

Tennessee State linebacker James Green was named the OVC-Big South Defensive Player of the Week. The Tennessee State Tigers were able claim victory in the 34th Southern Heritage Classic with a 24-14 win over Arkansas Pine Bluff and Green played a major role in the games’ outcome. With 0:54 left in the game, UAPB set up for a potential game-tying field attempt. An intial look at the “Reimagined Black and Red” Air Jordan 4

The classic “Black Cement” Air Jordan 4 is the latest original colorway to be taken down the “Reimagined” path. This iteration of the beloved colorway forgoes its typically durabuck, the nubuck upper, for a leather build, however it retains the “NIKE AIR” branding of its 1989 and 2019 forbears. This upcoming “Cacao Wow” aesthetic is the latest from the Nike Terminator High, the classic silhouette that college basketball helped introduce to the world back in 1985. This iteration of the Nike Book 1 was for Drake. Its monchormatic aesthetic sports an all orange upper that sports a reptile print texture at the collar, toe and heel, with lizard print present on the side Swooshes. Below resides an orange midsole and a creamy orange and grey rubber outsole. It comes hosue cial packaging that includes Drake’s upcoming album,“FOR ALL THE DOGS”. This version will likely differ from the retail version, as that will probably release sans the album and big ass special packaging.

UCONN star Paige Bueckers is the latest addition to the Nike Basketball family, as the brand announced Wednesday that she was signed to a NIL deal. Just 46 games into her collegiate career, the Hopkins, Minnesota native is already a highly decorated player with honors to her credit such as: Bueckers will begin her Nike run as one of the host of athletes that will wear the G.T.
