Lakers sign Christian Wood to 2-year deal

According to reporting from Adrian Wojnarowski, The Los Angeles Lakers and free agent big man Christian Wood have agreed on a two-year deal. The contract will pay $2.7 million for the upcoming season, with the second year being a player option. Despite averaging a solid 16.6 and 7.3 rebounds on an efficient 51% from the floor, the market for Wood’s services was surprisingly dry. This latest colorway of the Air Jordan XXXVIII sports a grey weave and suede upper, with what appears to be a floral pattern at the collar. A Jumpman appears in the negative space in the black circle on the tongue, with additional branding on the rear heel. Red orange piping can be seen running from the collar down to the midsole, with the same hue also present on the lace aglets.
