Albany State Basketball splits with Allen

It was an up-and-down day for Albany State basketball against Allen University as the Golden Rams split their matchup with the Yellow Jackets. The men’s team were victorious 74-64, while the ASU women came up short in overtime 66-59. Jordan Simpson lead the way for men, putting in 20 points and grabbing 11 boards. Albany State baseball home opener this weekend

This weekend the Albany State baseball team (1-3) will play their home opener this Saturday with a series with the Magicians of LeMoyne-Owen (1-1). The games will commence with a Friday evening game against LeMoyne, with first pitch scheduled for 6:00 pm. Saturday the series will conclude with a doubleheader with a first pitch scheduled for 12:00 noon EST at the ASU West Campus.

Albany State Basketball heads to SC for key SIAC games

The Albany State University Men’s and Women’s basketball teams both are hitting the road for pair games over the next several days. ASU is heading to Columbia, SC to take on the Tigers of Benedict on Thursday. They will follow that up with a game against Allen University on February 19. Albany State swept in basketball doubleheader
