Albany State Tennis gets two wins

The Albany State tennis team moved to 2-0 after wins over Central Alabama Community College and Huntington College in their season’s first competition. Game 1 saw ASU defeat CACC 7-2. In singles matches, Asia Raulerson, Bianca Leao, Carla Sorroche, Allyah Williams and Sumana Panauganti were all victorious, while tandems Bianca Leao & Allyah Williams and Sumana Panauganti & Carla Sorroche got wins in doubles. Game 2, Albany State swept Huntington College 9-0. Asia Raulerson, Doylisha Copeland, Bianca Leao, Carla Sorroche, Allyah Williams and Sumana Panauganti were all victorious in singles competition. From Albany State Athletics: The Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SIAC) has announced its 2022 Softball Preseason Teams as voted on by the league’s head coaches and sports information directors. The 2022 preseason team is highlighted by four returning players from Spring Hill (Morgan Kramer), Kentucky State (Moana Pinner), Albany State (Glory Seay), and Clark Atlanta (Tatianna Kelly) that were selected from the 2019 Softball All-Conference Teams.
